Students participated in global activities including Bangladeshi block printing, Japanese origami, Indian Rangoli and a blind rice tasting contest featuring dishes from Ghana, India and China. The fair was one of several events held throughout the week to promote cultural exchange across campus.

As political polarization grows on college campuses nationwide, University of Memphis student organizations are creating spaces for respectful dialogue. National studies from Pew Research Center and The Lumina Foundation support these efforts, noting that campuses remain key places for young adults to exchange diverse perspectives and promote understanding amid broader political tensions.
