Over 2,100 University of Memphis graduates were honored with their degrees on Saturday at the FedEx Forum.
The Fall Commencement was split into two ceremonies depending on which school the student attended due to the high volume of graduates. Rick Spell was present to give a speech as well as Lindsay Reeves and Alyce Tarver gave a performance as soloists.
Students adorned with customized caps walked the stage and received their degrees by President Bill Hardgrave. Hundreds of family, friends, and supporters came to congratulate and cheer for the new wave UofM alumni.
The Spring Commencement for those graduating in May of next year will have details announced closer to date.
