Despite a disappointing end to the regular season, Memphis Football earned eight all-conference nods, the school announced Tuesday.

Memphis earned five first-team All-American Conference honors. Sutton Smith, as a return specialist, Cortez Braham Jr., Sam Brumfield, Travis Burke and William Whitlow Jr. all received first-team honors.

Omarion Cooper was named to the second-team, while Pooda Walker, Sutton Smith at running back and Gianni Spetic earned third-team honors.

The Tigers finished the season with a thud and head coach Ryan Silverfield left for Arkansas, but Memphis still received credit for a strong campaign.
