LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - On Friday evening, Memphis women’s basketball made the trip west on I-40 to take on the Little Rock Trojans. In a game where the Tigers were able to just stay in the game for a while, they pounced in the fourth quarter and took a 64-62 win.

After the Trojans took a two-point lead with free throws, senior guard Chaé Harris, who finished the game with 13 points, drilled a three-pointer from the right corner to give Memphis the lead with just seconds left on the clock where the visitors held on to secure the victory.

This win is not only the first of the new campaign for third-year coach Alex Simmons, but it is a massive swing in momentum after the Tigers fell flat in their season opener.

Memphis will be back in action on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. when it takes on South Alabama in Mobile. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
