After a successful first two days, the University of Memphis women’s tennis team closed out the Memphis Invitational with seven wins against Arkansas State Sunday at the Leftwich Tennis Center.
In singles play, Leonie Moeller, Emma Dvorackova, Sofia Mykhailets and Clemence Thouard all came away with a win in their individual matches for the Tigers.
In doubles play, Moeller and Mykhailets defeated Lilly Cvanciger and Carla Myro Castellvi 6-4. Natalia Koppova and Thouard defeated Anna Grigoreva and Meghna Aryn Kymar 6-3, and Sarah Millard and Hanmare McAslin got a win over Rebecca Frant and Alicia Mall 6-4.
After picking up 22 wins across the three-day event, the Tigers will play again starting Saturday in the ITA All-American Championship in Cary, North Carolina.
