The Band CAMINO to play before Tiger football game

If students missed the This is Memphis Festival and would like to attend another free concert, The Band Camino is performing at Tiger Lane tonight, Oct. 6 at 4:45 p.m. before the Memphis Tiger football game against Temple.

The group’s sound draws influences from bands like The 1975, Colony House, Walk The Moon, and The Killers. Their first demo, YØUNG was released fall 2015, and is available on SoundCloud.

The Band CAMINO is U of M student comprised act built on years of collaboration between Jeffery Jordan (leads vocals and guitar) Spencer Stewart, who leads (keys, vocals, and guitar) Graham Rowell (bass) and Andrew Isbell (drums.)

In addition to studying at the U of M, the group is working on their first extended play album and has been signed with the U of M’s student-run record label, Blue TOM Records.

“We are super pumped to be a part of the game day experience.” Rowell said. “I think it's really cool that multiple aspects of U of M: athletics, Greek life, alumni, band, and now the music program, can come together to make Tiger Lane one of the most unique experiences in college football.”
