Portion of Zach Curlin garage closed

General parking has long been a concern for students, but now those who pay for priority parking are also facing parking difficulties.

And there is not a clear answer as to when this will end. Since Wednesday last week, some of the spaces in the Zach Curlin garage have not been accessible.

The east side of the fifth floor has been marked as closed and blocked with metal fences and caution tape.

“We are working with an electrical engineer to replace all of the light poles on the fifth floor of the ZC garage,” Angela Floyd, director of Parking Services, said in an email to The Daily Helmsman. “We hope to have this completed as soon as possible.”

Floyd did not comment on how long it should take or give an approximate time students should expect to regain access.
