Arizona State Sun Devils’ offensive coordinator Mike Norvell will replace the departing Justin Fuente and become the University of Memphis’ next football coach, per multiple news outlets Thursday night.
University president Dr. David Rudd tweeted earlier today the school will be holding a press conference for the new football coach 4:30 p.m. Friday, but did not name Norvell specifically.
Novell leaves Arizona State after arriving in 2012. His Sun Devils’ offenses finished in the top 20 in scoring nationally in each of his first three seasons there, before it slipped to 40th in 2015.
