The First South Credit Union at the corner of Highland Street and Southern Avenue was robbed June 8 at around 10:30 a.m. This is the second robbery at the same location, just blocks from The University of Memphis.
A masked gunman walked behind the teller counter and demanded cash from the tellers at gunpoint. The robber left with an undetermined amount of money in a black late model Nissan Maxima or Toyota Corolla.
The suspect is described as a man, about 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build and wearing a dark blue nylon jacket with yellow piping.
The first robbery took place two weeks earlier on May 25.
