University of Memphis Head Volleyball Coach Carrie Yearty promoted Fiona Bolten to first assistant volleyball coach.
Bolten has been a member of her staff for the past two seasons.
She was the setters' primary coach and team academic liason.
Women's Basketball
Joye Lee-McNelis acheived her 175th win when the Lady Tigers defeated Depaul.
The Lady Tigers also won their Conference USA matchup against the University of Alabama Birmingham. Freshman Princess Swilley was the leading scorer with 24 points and Senior Tiffany Atkins followed closely with 22 points.
Men's Basketball
Head Coach John Calipari recorded his 200th win when the Tigers defeated the Houston Cougars 86-78.
Women's Soccer
Brooks Monoghan was awarded the job of head coach of the Women's soccer team. Monoghan was the interim coach last season and led the team to nine wins.
Football
Idrees Bashir decided to forgo his senior season and enter the National Football League draft. Bashir started at free safety for the Tigers this past season.
Assistant coach George Holt will be inducted to the Hall of Fame today at 2:00 p.m.
