MOREHEAD, Ky. - No. 6 Memphis Rifle beat No. 16 Morehead State 4722-4678 on Sunday, making it their second win over the weekend.
Memphis started it off by taking a big lead in the smallbore relay, winning 2347-2314. Freshman Gabby Ayers led the team with a score of 594.
The Tigers cemented their win with a strong Air Rifle relay, winning 2375-2364. Freshman Emmet Bodrogi and Junior Gabriela Zych led the team, both scoring 595.
The top four places in the individual rankings were all Memphis players. Bodrogi was first with 1184, Sophie Cruz was second with 1178, Katrina Demerle was third with 1177 and Zych was fourth with 1173. Kenlee Ewton also finished sixth with 1171. The team’s next matchup will be next Saturday against No. 15 Army.
