No. 6 Memphis beat no. 15 Army 4732-4647 for their fourth straight win in their last match of the fall semester.
The Tigers had an incredible smallbore relay winning 2349-2300. Freshman Emmet Bodrogi led the way with a score of 591. Sophomore Katrina Demerle and junior Gabriela Zych both had 588. Memphis also won big in the air rifle relay with a score of 2383-2347. Zych shot 597, almost a perfect score. Bodrogi and Demerle were right behind, and each had 596.
Memphis dominated the individual standings; they had all top five individual scorers. Bodrogi was first with 1187, Zych was second with 1185, Demerle was third with 1184, Sophie Cruz was fourth with 1176 and Kenlee Ewton was fifth with 1172.
The rifle team will have a break with their next match not being until the spring semester when they play at Murray State on January 24, 2026.
