JONESBORO, Ark. - The Memphis women's golf team took second place out of 17 teams at the Lady Red Wolves Classic Tuesday, finishing the two-day tournament one stroke over par.
The Tigers were led by sophomore Claire Swathwood, who finished her tournament at three under par, good for a tie for sixth place individually.
Pavarisa Jongpipittaporn was the second best Tiger, finishing one under for the tournament, followed closely by Emily Wilson who finished at even par.
The Tigers will go back to Arkansas to play in the Little Rock Golf Classic in Hot Springs in a two-day event that will start Sunday.
