KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Memphis women's golf team finished the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate tournament Tuesday, placing 10th out of 15 teams at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee shooting +27 as a team.
Individually, Emily Wilson led the way for the Tigers, finishing the tournament one under par, good for 13th place overall. Claire Swathwood finished as the second best Tiger, shooting eight over par for the tournament.
The hosts, Tennessee, won the event comfortably, finishing 13 under par with the next best team finishing nine strokes behind them at four under par.
Memphis will be back in action Monday where they will play in the Lady Red Wolves Classic hosted by Arkansas State. The two-day event will conclude Tuesday.
