The Memphis volleyball team lost to Florida Atlantic 3-1 at Elma Roane Fieldhouse Friday night, dropping to 1-8 in American Conference play.
The Tigers took the opening set 25-22, thanks to two late Jasmyn Tate kills. FAU responded by winning the second set 25-17, the third set 25-22 and the fourth and final set 25-19.
Freshman Zaniah Hoskins led the way for the Tigers, putting up 15 kills and 13 digs. Tate, who helped the Tigers win their lone set of the match, put up a season-high of 11 kills.
Memphis will travel to Philadelphia to take on Temple Sunday at 11 a.m. CT. The game will be available to watch on ESPN+.
