SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Memphis men's soccer team lost 1-0 at Missouri State on Saturday evening, as a Harry Jolley goal off a corner kick proved to be all the Bears needed to come out victorious.
With this loss, Memphis falls to 4-7-3 on the season and 3-4 in American conference play. This game also caused Memphis to drop to seventh in the American conference standings, one place out of the top six that makes the conference tournament.
The Tigers had a few chances after Jolley’s goal, including a shot on goal by Adam Aboohamidi in the 88th minute, but were unable to convert on anything to come out with a point.
Memphis returns to the pitch for their final regular season game of the year on Nov. 2 against South Florida at home, with a spot in the conference tournament on the line.
