VERO BEACH, Fla. - The Memphis men’s golf team won first place at the Quail Valley Collegiate this weekend behind two top five finishes from Yixiang Wang and Cian O’Connor.
Memphis finished 28 under par as a team for the tournament, and shot an 836 for the tournament, their best three round tournament score of the season.
Three Tigers finished under par, with Wang leading the way at 13 under par, O’Connor at 10 under par, and Diego Lourenco at four under par.
Memphis men’s golf will return to the course on Saturday and Sunday for a two round tournament at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational.
