LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Memphis men's golf team finished 7th out of 15 teams at two over par at the Cullan Brown Collegiate tournament Tuesday, which was cut to 36 holes due to weather issues.
Memphis was led by junior Yixiang Wang, who finished four under par, good for a share of fourth place individually. Wang finished day one at six under par but went two over for the remainder of the tournament.
Cian O'Connor followed Wang, finishing one under par for the Tigers with Tobey Kim and Diego Do Patrocinio Lourenco rounding out the scorers for Memphis with a +2 and a +5, respectively.
The Tigers will return to action on October 19 and 20, when they will travel to Florida for the Quail Valley Collegiate.
