Zeta Beta Tau hosted their traditional “Get on the Ball,” event Thursday where they took a six-foot beach ball around campus for faculty and students to sign. The event was free, and each signature brought in fifty cents from sponsors to donate to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

“I think it's great what children’s hospitals do for children who are in need," Zander Tichenor, a new member of Zeta Beta Tau said. "It is important to me that people can live a healthy, long life if they are born sick."

The humongous beach ball brought in approximately over 1,000 signatures as the ball attracted many eager students and visitors who were excited to make their mark. Members of Phi Beta Sigma also hosted a pie facing event where students could slap whipped cream in the face of displayed Sigmas.

Jordan Bond, the second vice president of the Delta Nu chapter, said that he and his brothers were fundraising for the chapter so they could fund service events all around campus to make student life better.  Students from around campus paid money to smash whipped cream in the face of a Sigma. Phi Beta Sigma aims to raise money for community service events so they could remain free of charge for more students to be eligible to reach their community service hours.
