The American Conference released football schedule pairings for the 2026 season Tuesday, announcing that Memphis will play East Carolina, Army, Temple, and UAB at home and Navy, Tulane, South Florida, and Charlotte on the road.
With this news, next season will mark the first time that the Tigers will play Army as a member of the American. Additionally, the road schedule looks to be formidable, with Memphis having to play the three teams who are all currently undefeated in conference play this year on the road next year.
The 2026 football schedule is almost finished, as Memphis will play Arkansas State and UT Martin at home and Boise State on the road in non-conference play. There is one open date in non-conference play that has yet to be filled as a result of Arkansas pushing their home game against the Tigers back to 2028.
Memphis will return to play after a bye week at 3 p.m. at UAB to try and continue their undefeated season.
