Tommy Novak's Two-Goal Game Leads Predators to 5-1 Victory Over Sharks

It was certainly a win for the Predators on Saturday night in Smashville as they defeated the Sharks 5-1.

Samuel Fagemo, who was picked up on waivers by the LA Kings, got things going by scoring a power play goal to put Nashville up 1-0.

2:06 into the 2nd period, Tommy Novak made it 2-0 off of a tip-in pass from Kiefer Sherwood, who advanced the score to 3-0 twelve seconds later.

Novak's 2nd goal of the game came in the 3rd period to make it 4-0 for Nashville. However, Tomas Hertl would get the Sharks on the board, scoring off a rebound feed from Mario Ferraro.

Luke Evangelista would make it 5-1 on a breakaway feed from Dante Fabbro with 6:34 remaining in the 3rd period and the Predators would walk away with the win.

The Predators continue their 3-game homestand with a matchup versus the Vancouver Canucks Tuesday at 8:15 P.M. CT.
