UofM Crime Watch

For the most part, the University of Memphis has had a quiet week on the crime front. Only two incidents were reported throughout the week. 

On Monday, Feb. 1, police officers responded to a domestic disturbance on the University of Memphis main campus at the Carpenter complex building where an aggravated assault took place at 2:30 p.m. The incident is still under investigation. 

According to police, there was a drug offense on the University of Memphis main campus on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Police officers were called to Centennial Place at 7:34 p.m. when they received a smell of marijuana complaint. The officers seized the drugs and issued the resident a misdemeanor citation for possession. 

No incidents were reported on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday of last week.
