The University of Memphis President's Leadership Recognition Awards ceremony took place Sunday, honoring 52 students, advisors and registered student organizations for their leadership and service on campus and in the community.
The University also recognized the Carson Circle Fellows, The University's highest honor for character and campus leadership.
"It is an opportunity for our department to recognize the student's achievements," said Justin Lawhead, associate dean of Student Leadership and Involvement. "We make an effort to recognize as many students as possible. They have so much going on between work and school. It means something when they take time out of their schedules to get involved."
