In an ongoing effort to increase awareness of meager funding for public higher education, The University of Memphis has formed T.H.E. Team.
T.H.E. Team, or the Tennessee Higher Education Team, is an online newsgroup designed to jump-start debate and action from Tennesseans concerned about the state’s lack of school funding. Members of T.H.E. Team will get e-mail updates from The University regarding funding and funding-related actions taken in the state legislature. The phone numbers and e-mail addresses of Tennessee’s senators and representatives are also listed on the website.
