On Aug. 19, a 911 call was made to campus police regarding a domestic dispute between an alleged victim and her ex-boyfriend.
The female student said she got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend, and he became violent, according to a campus police report written by officer James Vickers.
The report also said the suspect began choking her until she nearly blacked out. Officers saw bruises and other small injuries on the victim. The female student declined medical treatment, according to the police report.
The suspect in question was taken into custody once officers arrived on the scene. He was charged with aggravated assault and taken to jail.
