1 – Theft from Wilder Tower

Two employees in Wilder Tower were victims of theft on Nov. 1, according to a campus police report written by officer Chanancy Donaldson.

One victim said he had kept two Samsung chargers plugged under his desk and both were stolen. When the victim mentioned it to the second victim, they discovered that the second victim’s iPad charger and $50 were also missing. Neither victim could identify a suspect.

2 – Vandalism in Central Avenue parking lot

A male student found his car vandalized on Nov. 1, according to a campus police report written by officer Claude Berry. The student parked his car on the west side of the Central Avenue parking lot after 8 a.m. and returned finding damage to the door lock, but the suspect did not gain entry and nothing was taken from the vehicle.

3– Theft from Ball Annex room

Campus police responded to a call at Ball Hall on Nov. 2. Two folding tables were missing from the Ball Annex room, according to a campus police report written by officer Kelly Straub. A faculty member told the officer the room is usually kept locked.

4 – Assault at Zach Curlin

A female student reported an assault on Nov. 3, according to a police report written by officer Barbara Ware. The victim told police she was being “cat called” by two male suspects. When one male suspect allegedly grabbed her shoulder, the victim kicked him, got to her car and drove away.

5 – Marijuana detected near Centennial Place Campus police responded to a report of an occupied car smelling of marijuana on Nov. 3. According to the police report written by officer Jermaine Wilson, officers found four students in the vehicle and could smell marijuana, but no drugs or paraphernalia were found. The students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

6 – Club Car missing from Softball Complex A student reported a Club Car golf cart missing from East Park Loop on the Park Avenue Campus on Nov. 4. According to a campus police report written by officer Claude Berry, the victim said she had parked the cart at the Park Campus on the afternoon of Nov. 3.

When the student returned to work the next morning, the cart was missing. The cart is a two seater with a trash holder on the rear. The report did not state whether or not the cart was found.
