Rae Sremmurd and Tory Lanez headlined last year's Spring Fling. This year's Fling will take place on April 22 and is free for attendees.

The Student Activities Council announced the headlining artists for this year’s Spring Fling on social media Wednesday.

Rich Homie Quan, Travis Porter and Metro Boomin will perform for University of Memphis students at the event April 22 at Memorial Field.

Atlanta-native Rich Homie Quan is best known for his 2013 hit “Type of Way” and has worked with big-name rapper Gucci Mane on his “Trap House 3” album.

Travis Porter, formed in 2006, is a hip-hop group made up of Lakeem "Ali" Grant, Donquez "Quez" Woodsand Harold "Strap" Duncan from Decatur, Georgia. The group has gained a following by uploading their music to YouTube. The biggest hits so far are "Aww Yea,” "Go Shorty Go” and "Bananas.”

Metro Boomin, a producer and DJ from St. Louis, recently gained much credibility because of his work with Drake and Future on the 2015 chart-topping single “Jumpman.” Some of his beats have been sold to Gucci Mane, and he has earned producing credits from ILoveMakonnen, Yo Gotti, Wiz Khalifa and Future.

Rae Sremmurd and Tory Lanez performed at last year’s Spring Fling, and Ty Dolla $ign and ILoveMakonnen performed at 2015’s event.

The concert will begin at 4 p.m., and doors will open an hour prior. Students with a valid U of M student ID will receive a free wristband for entry into the show.

Non-students are also welcome, but they must reserve a wristband through uofmspringfling.eventbrite.com. Their wristbands can be picked up the day of the show with a paper or electronic Eventbrite receipt and valid state ID at either the Rose Theatre ticket window or the Student Activities Plaza at the entrance to Memorial Field.

Lucky people to attend the concert. What a beautiful melody and a mixture of three genres is performing but this custom assignment writing services is the best option for all time. This is the best initiative from the student’s council for the student’s and why not the university of Memphis students are also lucky to see these three performing at the same time.
