Assault

nOn Monday, Jan. 2 at 7:10 p.m., officers were called to the LLC to handle an intimidation complaint.  The student informed officers of harassments and threats she received from her ex-boyfriend.  The case is under investigation.

Burglary

nOn Monday, Dec. 12 at 3:42 p.m., campus officers arrived at the University Center responding to a burglary of an office. The student informed the officers that after stepping out of her office, someone walked into her cubicle and stole her purse and electronic device. The student's cubicle is not open to the public and the case is under investigation.

nOn Monday, Dec. 12 at 2:17 p.m., campus officers arrived at South Hall responding to a burglary of a dorm room.  The student informed officers that he found someone had entered his room and taken cash and an electronic device.  The case is under investigation.

From the dates of Dec. 5 to Jan. 5, there were six reported incidents of burglary and four reported incidents of robbery in the area surrounding campus. These burglaries were reported to the Memphis Police Department. The University of Memphis Police Services had no details on the crimes.

Sexual Assault

nOn Thursday, Dec. 8, a forcible rape was reported on Kearny Ave. near campus.  Details have been withheld by Memphis Police due to the case being under investigation.

Weapon Violation

nOn Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 11:00 a.m., officers responded to a call on Park Avenue Campus where officers recovered a pistol from an apartment. The student was arrested and the case is under further investigation.Theft

nOn Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 10:25 a.m., officers arrived at the Living Learning Complex in response to a theft of a motor vehicle. The student informed officers that her maroon Chevy Silverado was parked on Desoto when it was stolen.  The case is under investigation.

nOn Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 2:49 p.m., officers arrived at the University Center responding to a theft call. The outside vendor informed officers that cash was stolen by one of the employees.  The case is under investigation.

nOn Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 3:55 p.m., officers responded to a call at Carpenter Complex that cash had been stolen from a female student's wallet.  The case is under further investigation.  

nOn Saturday, Dec. 10 at 3:32 p.m., officers responded at the UC ing to a theft complaint. The student informed officers that her personal electronic device was stolen from her office.  The case is under investigation.

From the dates of Dec. 5 to Jan. 5, there were 19 reported incidents of theft in the area surrounding campus. These thefts were reported to the Memphis Police Department. The University of Memphis Police Services had no details on the crimes.
