Earlier this month Nintendo re-released the classic Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console with 30 built-in games. The new “NES classic” is currently sold out in most department stores, but Nintendo continues to take orders for it.
At the cost of $60, gamers can relive classics such as Mario Bros. 1-3, Mega Man 2, Donkey Kong, Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, Excitebike, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid.
So we asked students...

“XBOX 360 was the greatest. I spent so many hours playing Skyrim.
“PlayStation 2 is my favorite of all-time. I left mine (PlayStation 2) turned on for a week because I didn’t have a memory card. It will never break like these women did my heart. #Drake.”
“Nintendo 64 is my favorite because it has the original Super Smash Bros. There is just so much nostalgia involved with that console.”
“Nintendo 64 is the best of all-time. Currently, PC is the best gaming console. You rarely have to upgrade, and when you do, just upgrade a few parts. You can play almost any game you want and you can still play all your older games.”
“I’ve always played XBOX. I don’t have a good reason why it’s better than the other consoles. I feel like I should.”
“My favorite is the GameBoy. I used to play Finding Nemo all the time and it never got old.”
“PlayStation 2 is the best. It was relevant for so long. There were so many games and it had great graphics for its time.”
